A man charged with a count each of burglary and theft has been further remanded by Suva Magistrate Asanga Bodaragama.
Saula Matanakinabou is alleged to have entered the home of a person in Suva as a trespasser and he stole assorted items to the total value of $1,700.
The alleged incident occurred on the 17th of May this year.
Police prosecutor Acting Corporal Walter Taito made an application that Matanakinabou be remanded at the Totogo Police Station as an investigating officer wants to question him regarding a murder case.
Magistrate Bodaragama stated that he can not allow the application and said that the investigating officer can question Matanakinabou in the remand centre.
The case has been adjourned to the 18th of this month.
