A 27-year-old woman has told the court that Navua businessman, Govind Sami had raped her in her home while her husband was away in the farm.
Sami is charged with two counts of rape and one count of indecently annoying a person.
The alleged incidents occurred between July 2015 and 25th October 2016 in Navua.
The woman who was working for Sami also told the court that Sami had asked her to perform sexual acts on him on 29th October 2016 however she had refused to do that.
She told the court that she told her husband to help her report the matter or she would leave him.
During cross examination defence lawyer Avinesh Reddy put to the witness that she had a relationship with Sami to which she said no.
He then asked her if she and Sami had 10 alleged sexual encounters with consent to which she said no.
Reddy also put to the victim that she had gone to a hotel with her sister and Sami where they had some drinks to which she said no.
The case will continue today.
