The Social Democratic Liberal Party has stressed that issues like common name and other matters will be sorted out through the legal process if they form the next government.
While speaking on Straight Talk with our News Director, Vijay Narayan last night on Viti FM and Radio Sargam, SODELPA candidate, Semesa Karavaki made it clear that they will go to the Supreme Court to determine the validity of the 1997 constitution and the 2013 constitution.
Karavaki said this one of their top priorities and they are not just focusing on the requirement for changing the 2013 constitution which is 75 percent of support of parliament and 75 percent of support of the registered voters in the country.
Meanwhile the People’s Democratic Party has again issued a challenge to the FijiFirst Party to come on the General Elections talkback “Straight Talk” on Viti FM and Radio Sargam.
PDP General Secretary Aman Ravindra Singh said this is the second time they are making this call.
He said PDP leader, Felix Anthony has also issued a challenge to the FijiFirst leader, Voreqe Bainimarama for a debate on “Straight Talk”.
FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum earlier said that they will first have to sort their media agenda before they get back to PDP.
