SODELPA is concerned about the treatment of those who have been remanded in relation to the military style training and attempting to form a Christian state in Ra.
Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa said although it is sad to see the number of people being charged keeps on increasing, SODELPA’s main concern is that some of them are not in good health.
Commissioner of Fiji Corrections Service, Colonel Ifereimi Vasu said they have managed to accommodate everyone that has been charged and remanded in custody.
He has received no reports of anyone feeling unwell.
Meanwhile Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Henry Brown said investigations continue.
The search for firearms that were allegedly used by the group conducting military style training is still underway.
70 people have been charged in relation to this case.
