Rural electrification a major issue at Namosi Provincial Council meeting

The Rural Electrification project is one of the main issues that will be discussed during the Namosi Provincial Council meeting today.

Roko Tui Namosi Ratu Waisake Tuisese says 15 villages who have not received 24 hour electricity supply from FEA are expected to receive normal supply soon.

He says other issues that will be discussed include the access road from Nakavika village to Wainilotulevu.

The Turaga Tui Namosi Ratu Suliano Matanitobua is one of the 21 members of Namosi Provincial Council.

The meeting chaired by Romanu Rokuruduadua was opened by the Commissioner Central Meleti Bainimarama this morning.
