Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum

Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will now have a roadshow for nurses and other interested civil servants.

Nurses and other interested civil servants have been encouraged to attend the roadshow events to get the facts on government’s civil service reform agenda and correct the record regarding any misinformation.

It will also give specific information on the recent job evaluation exercise and overhaul of the remuneration system that led to the increase in salaries across the civil service.

The sessions will cover the transition process onto the new salary bands and how civil servants can advance within the new remuneration structure, along with details on the 15 broad bands that now cover civil service remuneration.

This roadshow will be held at 10am tomorrow at Vunimono Hall Nausori and at 3pm tomorrow at Kshatriya Hall in Suva.
