Rishikul Sanatan College wins Best Dance award at Kula Dance competition

Rishikul Sanatan College has won the best dance award at the 13th Kula Annual Fiji Link Dance competition last night.

Hundreds of students and supporters turned up at the FMF Gymnasium to witness the competition where a total of 18 school competed.

Rishikul walked away with the prize money of $1,500.

Khalsa College of Ba won 1st runner up and was awarded $1,000, while Korovuto College of Nadi was awarded $700 as 2nd runner up.

QVS won the most popular award in the competition, walking away with $500 prize money.

The Attorney General and Minister for Education, Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum who was the chief guest at the event says that the quality of dance continues to improve and the government looks forward to more participation from schools in future competitions.

Sayed Khaiyum acknowledged all the participants and he reminded them that they are all winners because of the hard-work they put into producing their performances.
