The restoration of street lights and traffic signal infrastructure in Savusavu and Labasa are completed.
Fiji Roads Authority Maintenance Works Manager Aram Goes said this is a very good progress after Cyclone Winston where the infrastructure suffered significant damage.
Goes said in Suva and Nadi 90 percent works have been completed, 80 percent in Lautoka and 75 percent in Ba.
He said their ultimate goal is to fix all outages in the next 10- 14 weeks.
He said so far they have spent an estimated $1.2 million in the Tropical Cyclone Winston recovery of streetlights and traffic signal infrastructure damage.
