A remand prisoner is at large after he allegedly assaulted two Police Officers in Tavua yesterday.
Police are requesting for information regarding Semesa Bokini of Korovou Village in Tavua.
This is yet another incident where police officers have been assaulted.
The Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu says no one is above the law.
He says police is mandated by law to make sure that law and order is maintained at all times in the country and Police expect the members of the public to respect the men and women of the force.
He has once again reminded the public that harboring prisoners is an offense and will not be tolerated.
