New Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Pio Tikoduadua

New Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Pio Tikoduadua said his first major task will be to tackle the prolonged dry weather situation currently affecting us.

Tikoduadua said he will need to get an update on the situation.

Attorney General and Justice Minister, Faiyaz Koya wore his late father’s bow tie today when he took his oath at Government House.

Koya said he is remembering his late father, Siddiq Koya who was the former leader of the National Federation Party.

The new Minister for Finance, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said his main focus is the National Budget.

Health and Medical Services Minister, Jone Usamate said he knows that it is a major portfolio.

 

Assistant Minister for Finance, Public Enterprise, Public Service, Trade and Tourism Lorna Eden said she is looking forward to working with the different teams.
