Ratu Cakobau Road will be closed temporarily to traffic beginning today from 6am to 6pm daily until Friday the 10th of November for relocation of the water main required as part of the road upgrade works.
Fiji Roads Authority General Manager Network Operations and Maintenance, Aram Goes says that the upgrading works of Ratu Cakobau and Denison Roads will see the continuation of the recently completed road improvements on Queen Elizabeth Drive and Gladstone Road joined up to McGregor Road.
Goes says that FRA contractor’s Fulton Hogan Hiways Joint Venture will lay the new Water Authority of Fiji lines during this period of closure.
Goes says that short detours are in place via Domain, Denison and Pender Roads and also via lower Ratu Cakobau and Gladstone Road.
