The trial date has been set for former Transport Ministry spokesperson Sainiana Radrodro who is charged with 11 counts of obtaining a financial advantage by deception.
The prosecution will call 15 witnesses and provide 30 documents while the defence counsel will have 4 witnesses.
The prosecution told the court that the defence counsel has not agreed to any proposed agreed facts in the case.
The defence counsel will reply to the proposed agreed facts within two weeks.
It is alleged that between May 2010 and June 2011, Sainiana Radrodro obtained financial advantage by falsely stating that the Minister of Works, Transport and Public Utilities had requested $9,569 on more than 11 separate occasions.
The trial will be held from the 1st to the 12th of August, 2016.
