Ratu Kadavulevu School and Adi Cakobau School have successfully defended the boys’ and girls' division title of the 2019 Coca‑Cola Games.

ACS finished with 17 gold, 12 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Saint Joseph’s Secondary School is in second place with 7 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze while Jasper Williams High School is in third place with 5 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze.

ACS Head Coach Antonio Raboiliku says that it was not an easy journey for the girls to win the girls division of the Coca-Cola Games adding that the team knew it was going to be tough.

However, Raboiliku acknowledged the girls' ability to follow the instructions they were supposed to adhere to and this has led to them successfully defending their title this year.

Ratu Kadavulevu School finished the Games with 14 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze.

Marist Brothers High School is in second place with 9 gold, 17 silver and 6 bronze.

Suva Grammar School is in third place with 6 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze.

RKS Head Coach Moape Vu says that the processes they had put in place for the athletes from the beginning of the term is the secret to defending the boys title in the Coca-Cola Games.

He has also acknowledged the smaller schools who have stamped their mark at the Coke Games winning medals and he believes this provided a real test for the bigger schools like them.

Vu also highlighted how the team came together to support Petero Tuisiga who won gold in the Senior Boys 800 metres.

Tuisiga lost his mother two weeks prior to the Coke Games and the RKS athletes wore black armbands to support their team mate.

Vu says apart from this, RKS was ready for the challenges they predicted in this year’s Cokes.
