The Republic of Fiji Military Forces will be setting up a local crisis centre at the Officers School in Vatuwaqa where they will put up all the information about the 44 Fijian soldiers who are currently held in captivity by Syrian rebels.
Commander of the RFMF Brigadier General Mosese Tikoitoga said that all family members are welcome to visit the Crisis Centre in Vatuwaqa if they have any queries and are facing any problems.
Tikoitoga has also confirmed that the Commanding Officer of the Fijian Battalion in Syria has informed him that they are unsure of the location of the soldiers but he has also reiterated they are safe and well.
