Quick action by police prevented a possible break-in at the home of a 65-year-old man in Namadi on Saturday night.
Police received a tip off that three men were acting suspiciously in a compound.
Teams of police officers surrounded the residence and managed to arrest one of the suspect while his two accomplices managed to flee.
The owners of the house who were having their dinner did not know about the incident until they saw the police officers in their compound.
