The Commissioner of Police Sitiveni Qiliho who is currently in Bangkok has held bilateral meetings with the Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police, Chaktip Chaijinda at the Royal Thai Police Headquarters.

They say given the increased exchanges between Fiji and Thailand in various sectors of development and trade, both Police Chiefs agreed for a formal police cooperation initiative to be pursued.
The Royal Thai Police Chief has also encouraged the formalisation to reflect other areas of exchanges in training as well as people to people exchange.
