Queen Victoria School will be able to cater for more students once the new dormitory is built by the Indonesian Defence Force personnel.
With the new dormitory, the student numbers can increase from 715 to 1,000.
Divisional Education Officer Central, Serupepeli Udre says with the increase of students they are now trying to increase the staffing capacity as well therefore they have converted an old workshop building into the teachers quarters.
Udre says that they have completed the chapel and are working on the main school blocks and a double story building.
He says they are looking at getting the exam classes back if things go according to plan.
The reconstruction of QVS is expected to be completed by August.
