The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Justice, Law and Human Rights is inviting members of the public to give their feedback on the draft Income Tax Bill.
The committee is expected to start with its western tour from the 28th of this month.
Committee Chair Ashneel Sudhakar said the new bill has a number of features and the public’s reaction on this is needed.
Member of the Standing Committee Semesa Karavaki also asked Fiji Revenue Customs Authority CEO Jitoko Tikolevu if a representative from FRCA can accompany them during their tour.
Karavaki said this is to ensure that certain sections on the draft Income Tax Bill could be well explained to the public.
FRCA CEO Jitoko Tikolevu said they will allocate people to tour with the Standing Committee.
