Public Servants can now look forward to Outsourced Training Programs

Public Servants can now look forward to Outsourced Training Programs provided by the Public Service Commission and other providers.

Other providers include the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education of USP, The University of Fiji and several private consultants.

This is confirmed by the Public Service Permanent Secretary, Parmesh Chand during the signing of seven Memorandums of Understanding with Training Providers earlier today.

Chand said the outsourced training programs include Good Governance in Human Resource processes, Anger and Stress Management, Research and Development processes, Strategic Management, Quality Assurance, Managing poor performance, Statistics and Data Management and Basic Counseling skills. 

Permanent Secretaries of various Ministries will determine how many of their public servants will attend the training program.
