Public Financial Management Symposium to be held next week

Fourteen countries will be able to improve their skills in asset management after the Public Financial Management Symposium which is going to be held next week in Nadi.

In a press conference at the USP Statham Campus today, the Director for the Pacific Islands Centre for Public Administration Parmesh Chand says through the Symposium the participating countries will be able to strengthen their service delivery and economic growth.

Chand says the major challenge faced by the countries is the data keeping in which public assets records are kept.

Chand says that Pacific Islands Centre for Public Administration will be able to provide assistance for expertise to enhance their knowledge in record keeping.

The Public Financial Management Symposium will be held from Monday to Tuesday at the Novotel in Nadi next week.
