Provincial council chairpersons to be appointed by govt

All Chairpersons of the Provincial Councils around the country will soon be appointed by the government.

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said the Chairpersons are currently being appointed by the tikina representatives of the provincial council.

He said this will change.
