The province of Namosi has been urged to work together in order to achieve what the government has installed for them.

While opening the Namosi Provincial Council Meeting, Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa says government is doing their very best to make all Fijians benefit from their initiatives.

Vuniwaqa says government has given so many things for free including free education and free medicine.

She says the people of Namosi should ask the question on what should they should do with the things the government has done for them.

Vuniwaqa also challenged the Namosi province on the utilization of natural resources which is not commonly used by the iTaukei.

She stresses that there should be plans on a daily basis to ensure that natural resources are used for income purposes.

She also says the protection of women is vital for success.

The Namosi Provincial Council meeting will finish today.
