The Procera Music Shop will be keeping a close watch with the Police on shops selling pirated local music CD’s in the Northern Division.
The General Manager Mahid Murad said that they will be focusing on the North to see that pirated CD’s are not sold there.
He said they often get complaints from people that video shops or internet cafes are selling pirated music CD’s and Procera than sends it officers to investigate.
Murad said they will involve police once enough evidence is gathered as many artists in Fiji depend on the revenue collected after selling the original CD’s.
He said they have so far also conducted 6 raids in Viti Levu and will continue to do so.
