Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, are expecting their first child in spring 2019.
Kensington Palace made the announcement hours after Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in Sydney at the start of a 16‑day visit to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.

The Palace said in a statement that their royal highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.
The trip is their only international tour since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were married in May.
The Royal couple will tour Fiji from 25th‑27th October.
