The President Jioji Konrote officially opened the Kamunaga exhibition called the Story of the Tabua at the Fiji Museum where 30 tabuas were displayed.

While making his opening address Konrote says the exhibition will correct the numerous misconception about the tabua and it's use including the issues of fake tabuas in the country.

Konrote says the Kamunaga exhibition will serve as a classroom on its important subject encouraging students and  young people to be critical thinkers.

He says this particular exhibition will also bring a focused attention in the need to properly maintain the Fiji Museum.

Konrote says the museum has been neglected over the past decade and he has appealed to shareholders to invest in the upgrading of the museum.

The exhibition is presented by the Fiji Museum in collaboration with the iTaukei Trust Find Board.
