Preparations almost complete for opening of Hibiscus Festival tomorrow

Preparations for the Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Festival are almost complete for the big opening tomorrow.

Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Public Relations Officer Liga Gukisuva says with the new venue it gives them the opportunity to create something new and different.

Meanwhile Gukisuva says this year’s Miss Hibiscus will not automatically be Miss Fiji in the Miss South Pacific Pageant. All the queens from different pageants this year, will have a competition in October to represent Fiji in the Miss South Pacific Pageant in November.

The Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus 2015 will begin tomorrow at the Suva foreshore with 13 queen contestants vying for the Miss Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus crown.
