Health Minister Rosy Akbar [middle] with the Suva Muslim College student heads

Power has been bestowed upon you, and it can be taken away from you if you fail to perform and that applies to me as well.

These were the words of Health Minister Rosy Akbar who was the chief guest at the Suva Muslim College Prefects Induction Program this morning.

Akbar says anybody who is given the responsibility to lead and to make decisions for others has to do it with utmost responsibility and humility.

She says many times when people are given power they start flying high and they think they have a right to do what they want to do.

Akbar says the badges are a symbol and reminder of who the students will represent.

Akbar told the students that they represent their family, their culture and the institution that has given them the badge.

The College today inducted form captains, school prefects, senior school prefects and library assistants today.
