The post mortem of the 14-year-old girl who was found dead in a vacant house in Viria, Naitasiri on Friday afternoon will be conducted today.
According to Police, the girl received serious injuries.
The 35-year-old man who was also found with severe injuries inside the house is still admitted at the CWM hospital in a critical condition.
Police said the man allegedly tried to injure himself.
The 14-year-old girl was reported missing from her home on Thursday and checks made at all likely places proved futile.
The 35-year-old suspect of Wainiika settlement was also reported missing from home on Wednesday.
Police received information on Friday that the two were seen occupying a vacant house and when police arrived at the scene they discovered the girl dead.
Director CID, Kishore Kumar said they have not ruled out foul play.
