The post mortem of the 39-year-old man who was found dead in the Sigatoka River has been conducted.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the results reveal the cause of death being consistent to injuries sustained after he allegedly fell over the bridge onto the rocks situated beneath the tramline.
However, Naisoro said the case is still under investigation and the case docket will be sent for an inquest.
The victim was last seen with three men between 4 to 5am in a drinking party in Sigatoka town.
Three men have been questioned and released by police in relation to this incident.
