SODELPA candidate Jone Kata says a facebook post he has put up about putting the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex and Queer people on four islands is not the stand of SODELPA but his opinion.
In that post Kata wrote “Fiji. Put all LGBT together, each into four islands. They will not reproduce and eventually go extinct”
He has told Fijivillage that he does not condone the practice of homosexuality between males or females as they seem to think that it is their God given right.
Kata says the answers are in the scriptures.
He says he only recognises people in the LGBTIQ community as individuals.
Kata says the facebook post was only about stating a fact that if you put LGBTIQ people together on an island they will not be able to reproduce.
Kata says everything he is saying is based on the bible.
