Police waiting on post mortem of 11yr-old girl who allegedly committed suicide

Police are now awaiting the post mortem of the eleven year old girl who is alleged to have committed suicide.

The girl was found by her sister inside their home in Vatuwaqa yesterday afternoon.

Twelve people have already become victims of suicide in the first one and half months of this year compared to eight for the same period last year.

Police have also recorded 16 cases of attempted suicide cases so far this year compared to 6 for the same period last year.
