The Fiji Police Force will deploy all relevant units and resources including its K9 unit for the Coca-Cola Games this week.
Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu says their no drop policy on assault cases still stands.
Tudravu says they will push forward manpower from other units and they will cover both the Games venues and the spill over into town areas.
He says that are anticipating Suva to be hive of activity and their operations will be aligned to cater for the influx of people coming in for the Games as well as those coming to spend the two weeks holiday in the capital city.
Tudravu says they are also requesting parents, guardians and old scholars to assist them in ensuring the Coca-Cola Games is an incident free event.
He says parents should to talk to their children about the need to display good sportsmanship, before, during and after the Coca-Cola Games.
