Police are still requesting for assistance on the identification of the i-Taukei woman aged between 20 to 30 years who was found dead by some members of the public at Nadi Back Road at about 6am yesterday.
It has been classified as a hit and run road accident.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro, says no one has come forth with any information.
The woman is believed to have been hit by a vehicle at the Nadi back road sometime early yesterday morning causing her death.
Members of the public with missing loved ones of that age are requested to contact Nadi Police Station for the identification of the victim.
The post mortem will be arranged once the body is positively identified by her family members.
The woman was wearing long black trousers with a blue t shirt and a greyish cardigan tied around her waist when her body was found.
Members of the public with any information of the vehicle involved are requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919.
