The file in relation to Vilikesa Soko has been returned to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Police Commissioner Ben Groenewald said this is after they were directed to look into some outstanding issues when the file was returned for further investigation.
Groenewald confirmed that one outstanding issue was the release of Soko’s medical report from Lautoka Hospital which they have looked at.
He said the file was returned to the DPP last Saturday after further investigation.
Soko, who was allegedly involved in the robbery at the City Forex Foreign Exchange in Nadi in August, died in police custody.
