Police requests anyone with information on hit and run case near Volivoli village

Police are requesting to members of the public to call Crime Stoppers on 919 if they have information about a vehicle that may have a damaged bumper or bonnet as it may be consistent to damage resulting from a hit and run incident.      

This is after the body of a 30‑year‑old woman of Vona, Cuvu was found on the road near Volivoli village in Sigatoka around 2am on Tuesday.

Police have classified it as a fatal hit and run case as the post mortem result states that the woman died of injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.
