Police have requested the assistance of Interpol to help investigate a video posted online which shows some fishermen getting shot.
Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said there are no clear details that these people are Fijians.
Sokomuri also said the time and the place of the incident remain unclear as their investigations continue.
He also said that they have requested the assistance of other police organisations in the region.
