Police looking for remand prisoner on the run

Police are looking for a remand prisoner who escaped from the Rakiraki Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirmed that Anare Berelo is still on the run.

Naisoro is requesting members of the public to call 917 if anyone has any information of Berelo’s whereabouts.

Berelo is facing an assault case.
