Police divers will try to pull out a car that was found in the Navua River near the old Hospital tomorrow.
Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Luke Navela said it is confirmed that the vehicle belongs to the Navua family who went missing ten years ago.
Some fishermen found the car underwater on Friday.
Navela said they will inspect the vehicle to find any remains of the two children.
He said the retrieving process will take time since they do not want to cause further damage to the vehicle in order to get a clear evidence.
The vehicle was last seen on the 19th of April, 2006.
Vehicle driver 42-year-old Davendra Kumar, his 32-year-old wife Nirupa Devi, and their children, 9-year-old Dipshika Kumar and 3-year-old Edwin Kumar were reported missing ten years ago.
ACP Navela said the remains of Davendra Kumar and Nirupa Devi were found at a beach in Pacific Harbour a year later.
However they did not find any remains of the two children.
