Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho has expressed concerns saying the practice is serious, and failure to report drug related incidents will result in a separate investigation for the school’s administrator and the teacher that fails to report.
He says the matter has been discussed with the Ministry of Education with an agreement reached to quickly address the issue.
Police officers will be attending various events commemorating International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in schools across Fiji.
