Police have arrested four men who are alleged to be involved in a series of robberies in Navua and Pacific Harbour.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Luke Navela says the three men are charged with aggravated burglary and theft for their alleged involvement in a robbery at a villa at Pacific Harbour on the 15th of this month.
Navela says two of the accused persons are 22-years-old while the third accused is 23-years-old.
He says they appeared at the Navua Magistrates Court last Friday.
Navela says all three were remanded in Police custody after an application was made by Prosecutors as they were wanted for questioning for their alleged involvement in other burglary cases.
He says the three have been again charged with aggravated burglary and theft for breaking into another house in Navua from where assorted liquor and cigarettes were stolen last Friday.
The house was vacant at the time.
Navela says one of the 22-year-old accused from the three is also been charged with a further count of burglary and theft for breaking into the house of a pastor in Navua from where laptop and i-pods were stolen on the 12th of this month.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old man is also in Police custody for a separate case.
Navela says he has been charged with burglary and theft.
He is alleged to have broken into a villa and stole a laptop and assorted liquor on the 15th of this month.
The house was vacant at the time.
All four accused will be produced at the Navua Magistrates Court tomorrow.
