Police are urging truck drivers to be considerate of other drivers and not to disregard road rules.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says that they understand the concerns that have been raised about heavy goods vehicles and big trucks that sometime disregard road rules because of the fact that they are bigger vehicles.
She says that Police have taken note of this issue and officers will be out and about trying to address the issue.
Naisoro says that the driver of the 5 tonne truck that overturned and landed on a private car and taxi along Ratu Dovi Road has been questioned by police as police investigations continue.
The 5 tonne truck driver was speeding along Ratu Dovi Road and could not negotiate the bend going into Nokonoko Road.
It then overturned and landed on a private car and taxi.
No one was injured.
Naisoro has again urged truck drivers to be cautious and considerate of other drivers and pedestrians on the road.
