Close to a hundred police and military officers undergoing a six- month Hapkido Course have been told to use their skills responsibly.
Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu told the officers that they should not change the way they conduct their work because of the new knowledge and ability they have acquired.
Tudravu says the training facilitated by the RFMF is significant to the development of any officer in their line of work.
Since the inception of the training course in 2007 more than 1,500 officers from the Fiji Police Force, RFMF, Fiji Navy and Fiji Corrections have graduated with a Post-Degree Black Belt.
The training is headed by the RFMF’s Captain Tevita Korovou who is a confirmed Grand Master from the Republic of South Korea.
