Police Officers have standby teams if weather situation deteriorates - Qiolevu

Police Acting Chief Operations Officer ACP Maretino Qiolevu has confirmed that Police Officers in the four divisions have standby teams that will be deployed if the weather situation deteriorates.

He adds that Police have already deployed officers to visit areas prone to flooding and traffic officers have been boosted considering the unfavorable conditions that could be a safety issue to drivers and all road users.

ACP Qiolevu has stressed that Police cannot be everywhere and have people can contact their respective Command Centres if they require assistance;
