Police and National Fire Authority investigations are still continuing in relation to a tragic fire early Saturday morning in Valele, Ba which claimed the lives of four people.
52-year-old Amele Nacula, 23-year-old Alka Dutt, 52-year-old Sanaila and 52-year-old Ropate died in the house fire.
26-year-old, Upendra Dutt who was also in the house told us that they slept around 2am on Saturday after finishing a grog session and having dinner together.
Dutt says it was just around one hour after he had fallen off to sleep that he felt the heat and ran to the kitchen to put the fire out but was unsuccessful.
He managed to escape.
The 26-year-old says he lost his mother, sister and two uncles in just moments.
The funeral details are still being worked out.
