The Fiji Police Forensics team has completed the necessary tests on the human remains and findings at Natadola Beach.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Luke Navela said the DNA information is being sent to their Russian counterparts through INTERPOL so that they can help them determine whether there is a link to the missing Russian couple.
He said this is their main focus but at the same time divers continue to search the Natadola waters.
Police have also not ruled out the suggestion that the Russian couple could have left the country.
People are also requested to report to police any sighting of items of interest.
Several items were found in the couple’s land cruiser at Natadola Road, Sigatoka.
This included the woman’s clothes and a passport.
A security guard discovered the first set of body parts at Natadola Beach last Friday.
Russian couple Yuri Shipulin and his wife Natalia have been missing since the 16th of this month.
