Police Commissioner, Ben Groenewald will have public sessions around the country from next week to listen to the concerns of the public.
Groenewald said there have been reports in the media on people concerned about their safety and the best option is to talk directly to the people concerned.
He also urged community leaders and the business community to work with the Police in keeping their communities safe.
He also admitted that Police will need to work harder in the enforcement of law and order in certain areas however they will not be able to address the issue if people choose to only speak to the media and not directly to the Police.
Groenewald requested anyone who feels they are not getting the highest level of professional service from Police officers serving your community, to contact their respective Divisional Police Commanders.
If people still do not feel their grievances or complaints are being dealt with, then communication to the Police Commissioner's office can be made via email at fjcompol@gmail.com, fax on 3343 818 and by contacting 3343 777.
