Close to 200 plants believed to be marijuana have been uprooted from the interior of the Navosa highlands.
The plants ranging from 3 centimetres to 2 metres were uprooted by a team of 40 officers yesterday morning.
Investigations continue to determine the owner of the farm as the tests are being conducted by the Fiji Police analysts.
Meanwhile, two men aged 32 and 40 years were arrested by the Operations Team after 6 parcels of dried leaves believed to be marijuana were found in their possession.
They are currently in police custody.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu said the raid was made possible through the assistance from members of the community.
He added the officers will travel to the most remote locations to locate farms in a bid to stop the cultivation of marijuana.
Phase 4 of Operation Sasamaki will continue in the Western Division throughout the week which started yesterday.
