A big investment is expected in Nakasi as there are plans to construct a multipurpose hall and a vocational training centre.
Fiji Muslim League’s President Hafiz Khan said they have two acres of land in Nakasi where the construction will take place.
He highlighted the vocational training centre will be for students to pursue further studies whereas the multipurpose hall will be given on hire as it will bring income for them.
He added the hall will also be used for their religious purposes.
Khan added they will work together with the Ministry of Education in regards to the vocational training centre.
The expected cost of the project is $2.5 million.
