People present this morning at the SPCA office in Walu Bay to take advantage of the free vet services provided by a team of veterinary specialists from the US Navy.

People turned up in numbers with their pets to the SPCA Office in Walu-Bay this morning to take advantage of the free vet services that are being provided by a team of veterinary specialists from the US Navy.

This is part of the 2015 Pacific Partnership mission.

Four vets and nine para-vets are part of the specialist team.

SPCA General Manager, Priscilla Reddy says 28 surgeries were done yesterday.

She says this was overwhelming considering that they only have a capacity of doing four surgeries in day.
