People living along Princes Road should expect low water pressure from today.

The Water Authority of Fiji says areas along Princes Road might be experiencing low water pressures situations till Thursday.

Affected areas include, Tacirua, Dokanaisuva, Colo‑i‑suva, Tamavua Village and Ragg Avenue.

The Water Authority of Fiji says low water pressure situation is a result of the electricity shutdown that happened on Sunday that is affecting the Khalsa Booster Pumping Station.

Water Authority says the Booster Pumping Station is back in normal operation, however, the supply will be affected due to low water levels in the clear water reservoirs as a result of reduction of water production during the electricity shutdown period.
